Product description

Lime-based plastering  and  masonry mixture obtained by means of heating lime obtained from heating limestone at the required temperature with water in special equipment. The product conforms to the requirements of the ГОСТ 22688-77,  ГОСТ 9179-77 standards.

Fields of Application

This product can be applied in the following areas:

  • Social and civil buildings;
  • Plastering and masonry and whitewashing works on internal and external surfaces of buildings;

Advantages

Preparation of surface. Residues preventing adhesion of the surface should be cleaned off the surface; in case the surface to be used has any defects, they should be eliminated using Filkret repair mortar.

Preparation of mixture

Oily lime mortar: mix 7 sacks of lime and 160 liter of water with 1 мm3 sand and wait a while.

Resistant lime mortar: mix 7 sacks of lime and 120 liters of water with 1 m3 sand. After 2 hours add 3 to4 sacks of cement and 80 liters of water, and mix again. Watery lime mortar (alabaster mortar): prepare the lime mortar, mixing 1 sack of lime with 120 liters of water.

Application. Use the prepared I and II mixtures in masonry and plastering works, and apply the III mixture onto the wall and ceiling surfaces, using roller or brush.

Recommendations. The temperature of the environment and surface to be applied should be minimum +50C. The can, tools and equipment to be used for preparation of the mixture should always be clean, and cleaned with water right after use. Dirty cans and instruments reduce the useful life of the mixture.

Consumption 

The consumption differs depending on the dimensions of surfaces and walls used.

Shelf Life storage

The product can be stored during 6 months in unopened sacks in dry conditions with maximum 10 sacks placed one on another.

Warnings

  • pay special attention to the cans and water used for the preparation of MA Lime mortar to be clean;
  • do not add any chemical substances to the hydrated lime;
  • store the product in dry warehouses, with maximum 10 sacks placed one on another
  • Specifications indicated above were received on the basis of laboratory tests conducted in the ambient conditions of +230C±20C temperature and 50% + 5% humidity. Depending on the ambient conditions these specifications may be changed.
