The National Leader’s accession to power was a gorgeous sunrise which has cleared away the misty history of Azerbaijan’s future. It was the first significant event of a new historical stage that laid the foundations of ideas about the rise of the country’s statehood and opened the way to revival of Azerbaijan.
Seven years have passed from the day of death of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern Azerbaijan, which becomes a strong independent state and takes rightful place on the international stage day by day, the leader who could awaken a sense of pride in Azerbaijanis all over the world for their belonging to this great nation. Every year on 12 December, people throughout the world remember with the highest esteem the name of this great man, who turned Azerbaijan into a country of peace, stability, national and racial tolerance, into a platform for a dialogue among various cultures.
One of such commemorative events was held in Matanat A company. In his opening speech, President of the company Elkhan Bashirov spoke of the life journey of the great son of the Azerbaijani people, founder of the state of Azerbaijan and national hero Heydar Aliyev, as well as on his merits for the motherland and people. He emphasized that the most important events in social, economic and cultural life of modern Azerbaijan definitely are the fruits of the Heydar Aliyev’s policy. He made a detailed speech on the perfect ideology of statehood that provided inviolability, stability and invincibility of Azerbaijan’s independence laid down by Heydar Aliyev.
Other participants of the event also spoke of the great leader and the law-governed state and civil society created by him as well as on his activity for the benefit of the people that will be engraved on our memory forever. At the end of the event the company staff visited the grave of the national leader in the Alley of Honour.
