On the occasion of the 86th Anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth on 10 May, Matanat A employees visited the grave of the great leader in the Alley of Honour and laid wreaths at the memorial complex.
As a token of the Azerbaijani people’s respect and esteem for the cherished memory of the founder of our statehood and independence Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, representatives of the company bowed their heads respectfully before his spirit and laid flowers on the grave.
The grave of the builder and founder of the modern state of Azerbaijan turned into a sacred place of worship for our people on the death of this great man. One can say that people come here all the year round and pay tribute to the memory of this great Azerbaijani who had made our country and people famous throughout the entire world.
The most outstanding success in the history of modern Azerbaijan is associated with the name of Heydar Aliyev. Being an extraordinary figure with the brilliant talent of a politician and statesman, Heydar Aliyev became a living legend within his lifetime. National sovereignty and economic independence of Azerbaijan in modern times are based on the potential laid down at that period.
Heydar Aliyev revived our national existence and our history, specified a distinct way and determined a precise strategy and tactics for obtaining success and development of Azerbaijan in the near and distant future. Heydar Aliyev is a person who laid down the foundation for the civil society development in our country. Having realized the role of ties with historical and national roots, mutual understanding, national solidarity, creative approach and appreciation of modern times and the world in the progress of nation and people in Azerbaijan, he created a system of thinking which established the possibility of living with due respect for the law and democratic values and in accordance with other important criteria.
All aspects of this system are associated with the bright and dynamic life, reality and daily work. In other words, endless love of the people for its leader in recognition of his services was a result embodying Heydar Aliyev’s life.
Agriculture, industry and construction sector of the country advanced considerably under Heydar Aliyev’s leadership, and economic achievements improved the living standards of our people.
On the Anniversary Day all creative people and intellectuals in our country are proud of the fact that our great leader appreciated the role of science, education, culture and all other key factors that form the national consciousness in prominence of the nation on an equal basis with economic, political and social relations, and developed the scientific foundation of the independent state based on such approach.
Heydar Aliyev’s endless love for popular wisdom emerged from his love for the native land, Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev was thinking of the integration of Azerbaijan into the civilized community and economic, political and humanitarian rapprochement between nations as one of key means of consolidation of the statehood and people development. At the same time he took mutual understanding and propaganda of cultural values as a basis considering these aspects as a proved and optimal way of finding common language.
Our great leader paid special attention to acceleration of promotion of entrepreneurship. He carried out a number of integrated activities on a regular basis for implementation of priority areas of entrepreneurial development that created favourable conditions for entrepreneurs. The national leader focused on the expansion of financial support of entrepreneurship.
Heydar Aliyev’s meaningful life, priceless services to the homeland and rich heritage became a school of national consciousness for our future generations. The fact that today all Azerbaijani citizens are the followers of Heydar Aliyev’s political school, their rallying around his worthy successor Ilham Aliyev and defence of his political course are not casual.
All his life, Heydar Aliyev, a historical figure and great statesman, bore the burden of the people’s destiny, carried on patriotic struggle for Azerbaijan independence, freedom and happiness, took his homeland off severe hardship and perturbation as a sovereign state and made his mark on the world history as a prominent leader.
Heydar Aliyev’s birthday anniversaries are solemnized in every corner of our country. People are certainly thankful to the great leader in every sense of the word for today’s peace and order. We all are under an obligation to the national leader for the attained success. Our thoughts and endeavours are a part of profound respect and esteem for the memory of this irreplaceable man.
